Ten years ago I rescued Ethel, my 14-year-old dog. Unfortunately, she had a variety of underlying health issues of which I was unaware until later down the road. When Ethel became sick and was throwing up blood, I became very nervous for her especially because I had limited funds available and had learned how costly caring for an animal could be. I had no idea where to start but I contacted Tails to Freedom, Inc. (T2F) and learned they were very willing to help her be seen by a veterinarian and were all about getting her healthy. T2F quickly arranged for Ethel to receive the medical attention she needed and she was seen the next day for blood work and x-rays and was also given medication for stomach ulcers. Without T2F @ Lucky Dog Thrift Shop or the supporters’ valuable donations I would not know where Ethel would be today or how she would have been seen! Ethel is doing so much better today and is back to her normal self, thanks to T2F and their supporters for being there for us!
