Peanut makes a comeback!

From Peanut's Mom:

A‌ ‌few‌ ‌weeks‌ ‌ago,‌ ‌my‌ beautiful Calico cat Peanut,‌ ‌was‌ ‌acting‌ ‌abnormally‌ ‌strange.‌ She wouldn’t eat or

poo and she was making some unusual noises. I was afraid she might be in pain.  There is nothing worse than seeing your precious animal in pain and knowing it means a trip to the vet when you have no funds available

My boyfriend and I called the MSPCA but they were backed up for four months. I didn’t think my girl could wait that long. Peanut is a Rescue cat from the Nashua Humane Society, so I called them to see if they could help. They told me about Tails to Freedom at Lucky Dog Thrift shop and all the good work they do.

The team at Tails to Freedom helped find the right Vet for Peanut and provided the financial assistance needed to get my girl back on track. Her diagnosis was arthritis on her back legs and meds were prescribed. Peanut is now eating

and playing like a normal cat should at age 11. I feel lucky that the issue was not more serious.

I’m grateful for the Angels at Tails to Freedom and all the people who contributed at Lucky Dog Thrift Shop. You are all truly my Angels and I can’t thank you enough. Miracles are possible. I neve give up hope and neither should you. There are good people waiting in the wings to help us all. Thank you to my Angels at the Lucky Dog Thrift Shop!
