Baxter happily home from surgery!

Update from Baxter's Mom:
Hey all!

I’m pleased to share Baxter is recovering well.
His tta surgery was successful, surgery took a little over one hour. He spent the night in the hospital for observation. Brentwood hospital and Dr Timothy lampman were all so wonderful, I highly recommend them.
In returning home the first 48 hours he mostly slept . Today he is up moving around and has begun toe touching and regaining appetite.
Baxter is allowing us to handle the leg with minor rotation and a lot of icing. We have a long 12 week recovery ahead of us, tho Baxter is such a good patient, young and otherwise healthy.
I have faith that he will do just fine.

Our appreciation to everyone at lucky dog and donors in helping make this happen, because of all of you wonderful people he will be able to have a Good Quality Of Life. I very much look forward to my four legged pal hiking Mount Major again, this means the world to me.
A Tremendous shout out to Kat! Her Moral support through this process I will forever be thankful for.
Sincerely,
Baxter’s mom Mount Major again, this means the world to me.
